  • Exhibition Veg.

Does anyone know if there's a book I can buy or a web-site I can visit which explains about exhibition veg? I'm less worried about growing them and more about presenting them. I visited an agricultural show last month that had a horticultural section and I've get the bug, but I know the way these things are presented is as important as the veg themselves and it all seemed a bit esoteric. I've already taken the first step and ordered the Robinson's catalogue and I've grown the occasional mega-onion in the past, but to eat rather than show. Am I mad for wanting to have a go at this?

I have been on Medwyn Williams web site and he has some great tips
The book i have is 'How to grow giant vegetables' by Bernard Lavery which has tips on showing
The other essential book is the RHS book of show rules as its the same rules for all veggies.
    here is a link.....

Thanks FOS. The Medwyn Williams site is great and I have a birthday coming up so will drop hints about the books.
