My first planting

well since getting my allotment about four to five weeks ago, I am finaly ready to plant my first crop this weekend, which will be 300 over wintering onion's 100 Troy, 100 Radar and 100 Red Cross. So they will all be going in on Saturday morning. I have dug the patch over and have also dug in some Fish Blood and Bone last weekend so hopefully im good to go.

Sounds great Hope you get a good crop from them all. It's always a good feeling to get a new lottie and plant your first bits isn't it - makes you feel as if you're making progress!

yes I must admit for the first few weeks I just kept going down and looking at this big baron patch of soil thinking wow its mine and then going home. having only had a little patch of 16 feet by 3 feet at home it was a little over whelming, but now digging it over and getting my first veg in is sooooooooo greeeeaaaaat will have to see how they do.
