Beans and Garlic

I have searched past threads, but I can only find one or the other, but I am sure that there was a thread on not planting garlic after beans, or vice versa.

I intend to put my garlic (mainly Albigensian) where I grew French and Borlotti beans this year. Does anyone remember anything about this previous thread?

They are said to be bad companions, details beyond me, but the allelopathic chemicals that account for this are only produced whilst the plants are actively growing.

I have leeks nicely developing planted after broad beans.
