Normally brassicas follow peas or any legume to capitalise on the fixated nitrogen left in the soil.
It could mean that your runners will have too much nitro.............. giving you loads of soft leafy growth and very few beans!
Apart from that, unless you change the soil each year,monoculture has been proven to give progressivly lower yeilds each year and plant toxins/pests/diseases could be a problem!My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
