Brussel prob

Hello all

I have just looked in the garden and all my brussel leaves have been stripped bear, on close inspection the leaves (or what were the leaves) are covered in green caterpillars (I think), but the actual brussels seem to be okay.

My questions - (a) will the brussels be okay to eat and (b) will the leaves grow back.

The sprouts will be o.k. to eat but you won't get much leaf regrowth at this time of year.

Pick off all the caterpillars you can see and make caterpillar soup (drop them into a bucket containing salty water). The leaves won't grow back, but the sprouts should be OK.

Water doesn't even have to be salty, plain water will do them just as well, I've found.
