Butter & Borlotti beans

I have borlotti and butter beans... presently have white flowers.

With the shorter cooler days now, I don't think you're going to get a crop of beans.

Mine have only started producing shelly beans in the last fortnight, and I doubt I'll have very much in the way of dried beans for next year's seed.

Having said that ... I found, accidentally, that the true butter beans stood all winter on their canes, and I managed to harvest dry or partially dried beans in the early spring
