I haven't put mine in my unheated greenhouse yet, I'm hardening them off in the day time but they come back into the house at night. I won't put them out permanently until night temps are steadily about 10c.Nestled somewhere in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Good soil, strong winds and 4 Giant Puffballs!

Mine are in the greenhouse but covered with insulation. It is probably too early to be doing this but my windowsills were running out of space. My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order

Yes, my tomatoes and peppers are out for the last week.
covering them with fleece and bubble wrap at night.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

I've got some in the glass greenhouse at the allotment, those are staying in overnight though am debating bringing them back home (no idea where I would put them) on Sunday when the colder weather hits. I'm going to try some terracota pots and tealights (about 4) and see if that helps during the colder spell. If it's sunny the greenhouse warms up quickly, it was over 20C at 8am this morning and gets the sun early so I might just risk it. The ones in by blowaway greenhouse in the garden at home which gets far less sun, those come in each evening (with the squash etc).

I've taken the biggest ones to my friend's greenhouse as they are too tall for the lights now. Experience tells me that transporting tomato plants that are 2ft high or more in the car results in broken plants, so when they get to this size they have to take their chances. I will be covering them with an extra layer on Sunday night and making an extra journey to the stables on Monday morning to open the greenhouse door unless the forecast changes, but that's the best I can do.A life is like a garden. Mine have been out in the greenhouse for a week or more. Fleeced up for the last two nights.... i'm watching the weather forecast like a hawk as it's due to be -1 on Monday night/Tuesday morning.

Leaving my tomatoes and chillis in gh for first time tonight with a fleece on top. Just been out to check temp and it is 14.8 so they should be ok. Took the strawberries into the gh from the cold frame too, not because of temp but something has been chewing all the buds off. Mice I guess.
