Forgot to add garden photos to the list as it was 1st May - done. Yesterday was utterly chaotic but at least I now have water, both hot and cold. The men set off the burglar alarm (the main panel is next to the water heater that leaked) and I was stuck in the house all afternoon waiting for the alarm engineer to come and reset it.

I did manage to pot up 2 of the 4 Balconi tomatoes, but anything that involves getting dirty is difficult as I have no water at all until tomorrow. Having waited in all morning for the scaffolding, I got an email at lunchtime from the roofers saying they had had to cancel the installation. I rang their office and found that they went into administration last week! It could have been worse - the job could have been left half done, so I probably had a lucky escape!

Extremely hard to get anything much done due to a combination of the ongoing fallout from the water leak and appalling weather today. Everything is now flooded again.

Gardening tomorrow will depend on when the scaffolding arrives for repairs to my roof, and how quickly the water recedes in the garden and allotment. Hopefully I will get time to pot up the Balconi tomatoes, which are getting desperate.
