I’m not going to get anything done today too cold and wet to have my daughter outside. She’s at preschool tomorrow and I’m on nights so I have the day to get some bits done so in the garden I plan on looping back the cooking apple tree and buddlia thats over hanging where the other beds will be going hope fully get another bed put together depending on the weather. I also have stuff to get done around the house and maybe have a nap pre night shift so we’ll see how I get on!

So todays jobs were to put in three raised beds and plant up my purple sprouting broccoli plants and plant my garlic and shallots.
I successfully put together two and filled one and planted it up. I have now realised I can fit in a fourth I didn’t measure very well 🫣 so I’ve ordered it. The third didn’t come with fittings so I’ve emailed them to try to get the fittings how frustrating.
Previously I’ve just grow direct in the soil but I think this’ll help my mini teacup recognise where not to walk!

I need to put a bamboo stick in the soil for my broccoli plant that’s growing from a shoot off of a plant I grew in 2022,I cut the plant down after flowering around Feb/March & it grew this little shoot this year, you can see in the photo,I was really surprised this happened,it’s doing quite well, took this photo September 6th
