Some bare rooted gooseberry bushes I ordered are in the post - I'm really hoping they will arrive today as I don't fancy trying to plant them in a storm over the weekend!

Apart from clearing up any storm damage when it is safe to do so, I don't intend to attempt any gardening this weekend.

Not too much damage from storm Darragh, although one of the wooden poles that supports the tunnel net has snapped off (probably rotten at the bottom) and the allotment is flooded again. I did manage to pot up some lettuce seedlings yesterday.

Sorting out some tech issues took up most of the day, but I did manage to use up some of the tomatoes that have been ripening indoors to make soup and started planning where next years crops are going.
