There is no way I am gardening today, but if the wind has died down in time (unlikely) I will check the allotment this evening in case the hotbed cover has blown off.

Also spent quite a while scooping water off the path by the garage and mopping it up off the garage floor.

Still battling with errant technology (solar panels and washing machine being temperamental), but managed 1/2 an hour to check the allotment and pull out a few weeds from the hotbed. Re-sowed the spinach from a new packet as it should have germinated by now but hasn't.

Friday was impossibly wet and the ground was too wet to do much today other than watering the greenhouse plants and harvesting salads, romanesco and carrots. I also sprinkled a bit of bfb around the fruit bushes at the allotment.
