Monday and Tuesday jobs
Apart from doing a little deadheading at 7am this morning, the plan is just to keep everything watered as well as I can. Everything else will have to wait, although hopefully I will be able to harvest a handful of peas. - done the watering. Too hot to pick peas but I did rescue a couple of cucumbers from the greenhouse and grab a courgette from the allotment. Also netted a couple of baby melons.

I had just finished trimming the hedge and cutting off branches of overhanging elderberry when the lady from the council appeared and told me the people the other side of the hedge were going to have the top cut and would need access to my plot. That's fine, I just wish I'd known before I spent an hour or so cutting back the higher branches!
