Haven’t sown any yet,it took me hours going through the seeds & making a list of tomatoes, there’s thirty two varieties I’ve narrowed it down to so far & there’s a few old seeds from the seed swaps on here I want to save seeds from to renew the stock…

Today I shall return to the forum! (Pretty much 2 years no show...hoping that they got all the bugs worked out on the upgrade by now )
Tomorrow and the next few days:
Prepare pots for the heated prop. Ready for my curbit and squash sowing.
Check that the germinated seeds of all discriptions in the greenhouse are surviving under their extra blanket of bubblewrap overnight and not toasting during the day
Sow some peas and check my other early outdoor sowings are still nicely fleeced, mainly to keep the neighbourhood cats off.
Weed the patio and paths.
Harvest some more greens for lunch. Kales are flowering and they are delicious.
Count the newts in my pond while drinking tea.
Gaze intently at the swift potatoes in pots in the Greenhouse to see if they are poking through yet.
More weeding.
Take delivery of my maincrop spuds and put them to chit until Easter when i can put them in their prepared beds.
Sort out my overwintered herbs in the cold frame, divide and place around the garden.
Ohhh... harvest some mint and dry it for tea.
Spent the last 2 weeks doing all the heavy lifting/ weeding, preparing beds, turning compost heaps and mulching etc. So now I am waiting for the weather to warm a little more for the next round of seed sowing in April. Oh yes and some MORE WEEDING!
V.P.

Weeded and cleaned the patio and paths.
Took delivery of a new picnic table and benches- will be treating/painting over the next week when there is sunshine.
Put up pop up greenhouse for the seedings to shelter in.
Did happy dance as the "Swift" potatoes are all showing their heads in the glass house. (2 weeks since planting.)
Sowed some peas.
Practiced some macrame! Yesterday I almost had a heart attack at the cost of pea and bean netting, so brought 200m of jute twine for £1. using an old bamboo cane for the top and bottom and approx. 8p worth of twine I took 20 minutes to hand tie a 120x100cm net for the peas sown above. A bit more time and I have more than enough twine for 3 lots of 200x180cm nets for my beans.V.P.

Friday and weekend jobs (weather permitting)
At my friend's
Take germinated peas to greenhouse
Weeding
At allotment
Photos (1st of month on Saturday)
Weeding
Slug hunt
Final decisions required on positions of parsnips and brassicas (struggling*)
Harvest leeks, spinach
*I have grown brassicas in the tunnel for the past 5 years and it needs a rest (too many pests). My problem is that the nets I have to go over the raised beds are not tall enough for things like PSB and romanesco and some of the beds get very wet, which brassicas won't like.
At home
Plant last 6 Lady C potatoes
Plant peas
Pot up Balconi tomato
Move largest 2 Shirley tomatoes to sitting room windowsill
Sow carrots, greenhouse cucumber
Harvest carrots, salad leaves

Also planted 2 cauliflowers in buckets and replaced the net over the carrot buckets with blowaway shelving as the cat was getting into the carrot cage and using the buckets as litter trays (thankfully not the one I have already sown). This is the next door neighbour's cat (a replacement for the old ginger one which was much better "garden trained" ) and it is an almighty nuisance.
