Yesterday I did manage to beat the thunderstorms and tied in the tomatoes, melons and cucumbers, generally checked supports in the hope of minimizing damage from heavy rain, trimmed finished fruiting stems and runners off the strawberries at home and harvested a courgette, tomatoes, an onion and a bucket of potatoes.
