Also planted 2 buckets of Lady C potatoes under a cloche that now gets some sun as the chits were getting too long. I am prepared to lose these as I have enough remaining seed potatoes for my usual crop.

Yesterday I went to the garden centre and got some onion sets and also some seeds - both Sturon. The idea is to grow both and see which performs better. My previous attempts at growing onions from seed have been a complete disaster, so it will be interesting to see how this works out.
