I am really pleased to hear that I am not the only one who has developed this addiction! I was starting to worry!! However, didn't stop me ordering some more this morning. I keep telling myself I'm all done now for next year..................or so I hope!

So I wrote myself some software, tells me what needs sowing, planting out, harvesting etc each month. You can download it from my website (in my signature) if you like Free of course
It's called SeedBox.Last edited by pdblake; 17-11-2008, 11:44 AM.

Thanks pdblake, that's a nice little proggy you made there. If you don't mind i'll give it a try and see how i get on with it . I just need to remember to look at it daily . It's gonna take a while getting all those seed packets in to the database though"He that but looketh on a plate of ham and eggs to lust after it hath already committed breakfast with it in his heart"

Yes, I found that too, it takes ages, but you only need to do it once
You only really need to check it once a month to see what needs doing, unless you use the diary on it too (which I forgot to mention).

I'm new to this and was sorting out my seeds yesterday and only have 75 packets! The thing is, out of those I've only acutally bought 4. The rest were free with magazines or given to me by big brother and Dad when they sorted their boxes out. I am in the process of writing out an order so will soon catch up with the rest of you I'm sure

With this in mind, apart from my self saved seed and a few expensive packets which weren't opened I intend buying all fresh seed this year.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Me, I prefer a 12-pocket divider wallet thingy, marked Feb-Nov (2 pockets each for March & April). I just looked at March, and there must be 200+ packets in there!

I have a drawer in the kitchen full of unopened packs (from the T&M half price offers online) free packs from magazines, part used ones and saved ones. I really must get round to organising them! I rather fancy the plastic wallet idea Bride xiii, not being very IT minded.I shall still have to get some more in the spring tho!Mad Old Bat With Attitude.
