  • Potato foliage tips wilting

On one of my potatoes some of the tips of foliage are wilting. The remaining 7 of my potatoes are OK. What is wrong please. Do I need to dig it out so it does not affect the others either side ot it or can I just leave it and it will still crop OK? Thanks

Any change of a photo...and are there any black marks on the leaves or stem?
Are they in tubs or in the ground?

The potatoes are in the ground and I am in Essex.

To be honest, I'm not so sure yet.
Were they certified seed potatoes or a few from the supermarket?

A few supermarket ones as an experiment during lock down. Earlier, I had one stem rot at the bottom where it came out of the soil which I removed.

Hi little money...its hard to say.By the sound of it the one that rotted sounds like black leg.
The pics you posted look healthy enough although there is a black mark one one of the stems.
The ground also looks quite dry, have they had enough water.
              Whrn did you plant them?

It looks like what happened to a few of mine. When I pulled them up, I discovered that the stem was almost severed through just below the soil, I assume having been eaten by something (probably slugs; I have enough of them).

I would lean towards blackleg too.
