  • Indomatrone Stalk question

Does anyone know what is happening to the "Stalk" on these Indomatrone Squash's?

First time I've grown this Variety and this didn't happen to any of my other Squash or Pumpkins.

    TIA

Doesn't look anything wrong with it to me. I've never heard of that variety, but the stalks on my squash often crack, or even get chunks eaten out of them by slugs and woodlice. Doesn't ever seem to do them any hard.

I've never heard of them either so had a look online. Pictures I've seen seem to suggest yours are entirely normal.

Edited to add: not many hits (in English at least) but apparently Indomatrone are really good. Let us know what you reckon.

I am getting the same thing on my turbans. Once they are ripe the stalks begin to dry up but remain attached enough to keep the fruit fresh.
If any dettch I will take them indoors early.
