  • Squash ID please

I emptied all my old packets of squash (some dating back to 2008 ) onto the garden in the spring to let grow what will, and three grew and have produced fruit. I have narrowed the identification down to a choice of three, bearing in mind shape and size. can anyone narrow it down more?
The choices are Kabocha (I think, it was a seed swap pack just labelled "Jap"), Winter Festival, or seeds from a green and white squash from the supermarket.
They could all be the same, or each different.

They look all the same variety to me.
They are definitely not Kabocha (although if you got the seeds in a swap it's possible they weren't actually true to type, so it could still potentially be those seeds), and the shape isn't at all right for Festival.
I suspect it's your supermarket variety. Based on the shape and colouring, it looks like a variety in the species Cucurbita pepo (which is the same as courgettes and marrows), which does sadly mean their eating qualities will be mediocre.

Oh well, I'll bung them in casseroles then. Thanks Ameno.
