Trinidad Perfume

Hi everyone.

My Trinidad Perfume grew beautifully in its chilligrow, but only produced a couple of tiny, wizened fruit. Now I've brought it indoors it's started fruiting more merrily, and I've got two questions.... How big are the fruit supposed to be?

And how do you best use them?

Hi 1Bee, I grew Trinidad Perfume for the first time this year. I had a good crop of lovely golf ball sized chillies. There was the typical fruity chilli flavour but without heat. I found that they thrived in my greenhouse and I only watered them when the surface was dry. I feed them once a week with Chilli Focus and then Tomorite when that ran out. I have a couple of plants with chillies still ripening.

....... forgot to say, I have dehydrated them and whizzed them to a powder. Not sure how I’m going to use them. Ha.

Thanks Holly! I guess mine are on the small side, then, but that's okay, I'll try harder next year!

I started mine early in February, then put them in the quadgrows using Dalefoot tomato compost in May in the greenhouse. Two plants gave a gazillion small (1 to 1.25” inch) fruits. Picked the last today (as I need to clear the greenhouse). Getting them ready to pop in to the freezer for adding to fajitas Very tasty, if smallish
