I have 3 raised beds, rotated every year, roots in one, leeks/onions in another and the last one varies, this year I had peas, lettuce, french beans and courgette in. Now winter is almost with us up here, this is where I'm at now.................



The leeks are ok, the carrots and parsnips will get a layer of heavy fleece on them when the weather gets colder, the empty bed will just remain like that, the chicken wire stops the village cats using it as a toilet.
