Perpetual spinach

My spinach has done well this year,picked another bag yesterday, is it best to pull the plants up soon and compost and sow fresh next year?

I would, mine always goes to seed during its second year, but it’s handy if you want to save the seed.

I always let mine go to seed, then plant the seeds! Truly perpetual!

I pulled them up yesterday, and donated them all to my friends chickens! So they are very happy!
