Veg in containers

I sowed lots of veg in containers for the very first time in Jan/Feb (tomatoes, courgettes, mini sweet peppers, white carrots, salads, french beans, mini cucumbers, radishes) with success. I started them off in a plastic greenhouse ( which is now uselessss as high winds ripped it to shreds!)
I've just bought a real greenhouse and want to start sowing the same vegetables as above, again in containers. What is the earliest I can sow them if kept in an unheated greenhouse?

I've already got 3 Blueberry bushes in containers and some raspberries
in the ground. Are there any other fruits I can grow in big pots successfully please?

Depends where you are. Can you put your location into your profile? It helps when giving advice.

It also depends what you're sowing.
I start tomato, chilli, onion and leek seed off in the cold greenhouse, in Feb. Then broad beans, then everything else except squash and French beans, in March.

Strawbs grow well in troughs (watering is difficult if you grow them in those tall tower things).

Black currents do well in large pots. You could also grow a wide range of herbs such as rosemary, sage, etc. in pots, often with great success because you have more control over drainage and watering than when they're in the ground.

It would probably be best to wait until Feb/March to start sowing, even if only because you don't have much sunlight in Jan to grow strong healthy seedlings.

I think you might just have to curb your impatience a tad until after Christmas. There's not much that will germinate at this time of year, even under cover.

The best I can suggest would be broad beans, ready to plant out in Spring.

I've just planted some broad beans as these are the only things around at the mo that will stand a chance at germinating. As the rest of the guys you best holding off until
at least late Jan to March time depending on what part of the UK you are in.

You could try maybe a dwarf cherry tree as they are meant to work very well in containers

Welcome to the Vine Coliebird. It's not all about temperature, there's the matter of light too. I find February is about the earliest it's possible to start anything as there just isn't enough light for plants before then. But to satisfy yourself you can plant a few seeds any time you like and see what happens. Good learning experience.
