Today I harvested 2021

Yesterday toms, raspberries and blackberries. along with the usual lettuce basil and chives.

A cucumber, a couple of courgettes, many purple cfb and runner beans, a couple of tomatoes and a knot of oversized spring onions. And 4 carrots. I had to pull 3 before I came up with one that looked vaguely decent.

Blackberries (this is becoming predictable) first Tupperware in the freezer now full. I might give smoked blackberry ketchup a go from the next lot, before resuming the great freezer stock. My mum is also at me to make some blackberry gin to take up joke for Christmas, so that’s on the list.

I’ve got maybe 150 Berlotti bean pods on the plants, but waiting for them to dry out before I harvest.

Picked the first Stonehead cabbage yesterday. Not quite as sweet as Golden Acre but still nice tasting and as the name suggests - very firm.
Also picked rasps, sweetcorn, cuke and toms.
