Super Chilli producing again

I bought a "Super Chilli" (doesn't give a more detailed description on the label) plant in Dobbies a few months ago, it was fully loaded with almost ripe chillis which I eventually picked off and have dried out.

It seemed to die off a bit for a while then a couple of weeks ago a couple of flowers appeared again, and I read on here about pollenating it... and hey presto it now seems to be in full production mode again.

We won't be buying chillis for some time!

I wonder how long will it repeat this for? It grows in the window of our south facing study.

I had to capture one of them for my cultivating scrapbook.

My Apache chilli that i am over-wintering on my bathroom windowsill is doing the exact same thing.
New flowers are then going on to produce new developing fruits. Very usefull.

That's excellent. We bought a chilli plant in France at the end of July and had all 11 chillis off it. About a month ago it went into full flower again and I've got more waiting now than I had all summer.

It's great, isn't it!!!

And 2 of the Alberto Rocoto peppers that were green for ages are now nearly 100% red...wahoo!!!!!

Not had much success in overwintering chilli plants but am trying this winter with a small Apache chilli. No east facing window so it's on my NE facing bedroom window that has a nice big radiator underneath.

Not sure about watering or feeding. I have the pot in a bowel and when the compost is looking dry I'm giving it a little bit of water. Should I also be feeding it? If so, what with?

I have just read this thread with great interest and rushed out and bought one of my chilli plants indoors! Unfortunately it does not look too well, leaves are sparce and slightly yellowy, but the chillis look ok. Is it worth trying to overwinter it or should I start again next year?

I noticed today that in the T&M catalogue, chilli pepper Super Chilli is a Thai variety with a compact habit.Ideal for growing in pots on a windowsill orcontainers on a patio. It has an RHS AGM certificate.

My Cayenne chilli plant is flowering ... kitchen windowsill. It's dropped a lot of leaves, but is growing new ones.
