  • Land cress

Planted some land cress in the raised beds earlier this year. Wasn’t doing much and I had bulk bags of compost to top up the beds, so I lifted the wee plants and put them in pots in the greenhouse. They have been doing much better in there and wondering when I should plant them back outside or whether I should leave in gh for now. The gh is unheated and temp is very variable from a few degrees to very warm if it is a sunny day.

We have some outside and some undercover, it won't be long now before the undercover plants become very peppery then go to seed. The outside stuff should last a little longer but will still go the same way.

My land cress did very well outside over winter, and is now quite big and starting to flower (ok, I am in mild London, but we did have some snow and -7C at some point.)
