  • cut and come again brassica

I grow cut and come again lettuce. I have grown to prefer them to a normal lettuce.
I only need to pick and wash what I need, not a whole lettuce.

Is there a brassica similar that would provide leaves?

    Thanks Jimmy

Kale springs to mind, lots of different varieties to chose from (flat leaf, curly etc.). We grow a large flat leaf (name unknown), Cavolo Nero and Red Russian.

If you have space for something more permanent, you could consider a perennial kale, like Daubentons or Taunton Deane. Each plant should be good for 3-5 years and is propagated by cuttings.

Yes I was surprised when I got some tasty florets early in the year, a bonus!
