  • coloured pea flowers

I see sweet peas have many colours.
But edible peas all seem to be white.
Are there any coloured edible peas ?
    Thanks

Jimmy I used to grow Purple podded peas, both the pods and flower were a nice purple colour they grew to around 6ft. I stopped growing them in the end to give more space over to Telephone peas.
    Location....East Midlands.

Most edible pea and bean flowers all come in only two colours, or rather one colour and one absence of colour.
Peas come in purple or white.
      French Beans purple or cream.
Runner beans mainly red or white, although bi-coloured and cream ones also exist.
      Broad beans red or white.

I grow a variety called Spring Blush which have beautiful two tone pink flowers, even the pods have a pink blush to them. They're very pretty.
Nestled somewhere in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Good soil, strong winds and 4 Giant Puffballs!

I have 2 growing this year that produce nice flowers that some others thought were sweet peas.

First is Kent Blue and the second is Latvian Christmas Grey, both from the Heritage Seed Library.

            This is the Kent Blue:
