  • Instructions for a locum gardener

I'm off for a week sailing and having to leave garden and greenhouse in the care of Mrs quanglewangle.

Showing her around I came to realise how many operations need experience and judgement: how much water - the right amount; how often - when it needs it; when are they ready to pick - you'll know...

I live in a part of the UK with very mild winters. Please take this into account before thinking "if he is sowing those now...."

Be funny if you came back to find the plants absolutely flourishing under her care!

They probably will with your expert instructions

    Enjoy your holiday !

QW I’m sure your plants will be fine this time of year there’s less seedlings to look after and no frost to contend with.
like Nicos says you might be surprised.
      Location....East Midlands.

That is the problem. You come back and all is better than expected. Have a good holiday.

That wouldn't be a problem - I could go more often.
