  • Tomato wilt

I have a tomato plant with a bit of wilt at the top.
It is a plum variety growing in a layer of clay over well rotted stable manure along the edge of a squash bed.
It is not black enough to be blight.
There is a chance that it is overheating as the sun has been pretty strong over the last few days. I base this on the fact that tomatoes are grown under sun screening material in Spain.

    Looks healthy enough to me.
Tomato leaves often curl (usually permanently) in response to too much heat, so imagine it's just that.

The heat is certainly a suspect.
It is just if there is anything else that requires measures to be taken.

I just remove the worst ones, lets in the air and light and leaves are doubtful if they are doing the plant any good.

They are a bush variety. I will wait and see if the trusses form on the wilted bit before I do anything.
