        Sowed sweet aperitif tomatoes.
Nestled somewhere in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Good soil, strong winds and 4 Giant Puffballs!
Always aim for the best result possible not the best possible result

French beans to test germination. If they grow, these will be grown on the windowsill indoors. Also peppers to replace ones that have not germinated.

I've just planted a very few seeds of each of these as I know that in a months time when my windowsills are overflowing and my greenhouses are still too cold I'll be panicking.

            Tomatoes: Crimson Crush and Sungold
            Cucumbers: Mini munch and Diva
            Aubergine: Black beauty
            Peppers: Gypsy and Padron
            Basil and Lemon basil
            Luffa seeds!
            Courgettes. (2 varieties)

The courgettes and basil are old seeds. I need to know if they are viable though.

Brussels sprouts which I left too late last year.
Resowed carrots in trough as had forgotten to add bfb originally.
Put sunflowers and hurst greenshaft peas to chit.

Are these luffas you scrub your back with greenishfing? Are they also edible? Never seen one of these growing, but I suppose they are a gourd.

I've never heard of growing them either, but when I saw the seed packet I just had to have a go. I've no idea how successful I will be.

They are edible if you pick them young, like a courgette. They eat them in South East Asia.
If you want a luffa for scrubbing then you have to let them mature completely.
