Not that keen on the late Valencians. They're a bit hard and not as nice for cooking with as the other two, but they last in storage really well.

Sown pre-chitted peas in guttering, still waiting for the last few to chit.

Potted up my pre-sprouted tenderstem broccoli seeds.

Sowed yellow pear toms and padron peppers.

Sowed half a bed of Katrin carrots and also a tray of Red Baron and Evergreen Bunching onions (both free with the Mag)

Sowed a tub with carrot seeds, and sowed a half seed tray of spring onions.

Chard, spicy lettuce, coriander and mustard spinach.

Brassicas: Green Magic broccoli, Pionier cauli (seed from France, hence the weird spelling), Red Express (very old seed) and Golden Acre cabbage, and Azur Star and Korist kohlrabi
Beetroot: Golden Eye and Cardeal
Lettuce: A few each of Rubinette and Queen of May (bit late...) and Little Gem plus lots of cut-and-come-again mixed leaves (still in date but I've had the seeds for years, unopened)
Spring onions: Karminka (terrible germination last year but the ones that did germinate were really nice, sadly seed no longer available, fingers crossed)

Parsnips on take-out tray to chit before planting out.

Between yesterday and today. Sowed 12 varieties of tomatoes, 5 types of peppers and chillis, 3 cucumbers and lots of flowers.
All are late starting as I have been away but hoping to catch up if the weather cooperates.

Chitted parsnips. The roots were showing so in they went quick or else they will fork.
I just had to put up with the cold and get them in.
