      • Strawberries and raspberries….and another lettuce.
        Some of the blackcurrants are black but still very sour so I’ll leave those a while longer before trying again

            We only grow Charlottes. Been eating them for a few weeks now then we just leave them in the ground until needed, way into early winter. Just before lunch I head up the garden with a fork to dig a few.
            I live in a part of the UK with very mild winters. Please take this into account before thinking "if he is sowing those now...."

            • Pulled the garlic which by now has been completely killed by rust. The bulbs still looked ok, but it was disappointing considering how fabulous it looked only a month ago.

              And lots and lots of strawberries.

                              • Lots of Coriander that I've frozen, then mixed ettuce, radishes and chives. It looks like it won't be long before I'll have a ripe tomato.
