    • Lots of tomatoes, peppers and blackberries.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

                  • For us - a couple of sweetcorn cobs, cabbage, cuke, rasps, Zinnias and some toms.
On Weds our lotty site takes surplus veg donations and hands it to the local Ukrainian centre for the refugees - so from our plot today 16 courgettes, five cukes, two cabbages and half a dozen beetroot.

My first three cobs of sweetcorn.

                            • Just back from 10 days away so 2kg of tomatoes and a couple of courgettes, basil and salad leaves. Plus a huge crop of rhubarb, third harvest of the year.

                              • More tenderstem broccoli.
                                Three more melons.
My first watermelon. It was splitting so I had to pick it, but it turns out it was ripe anyway (it's so hard to tell with watermelons). It was very tasty, and stupidly juicy (eating it made a terrible mess). Variety is Petite Yellow, which produces small 1-1.5kg fruit (this one was just over 1kg) with yellow flesh. I'm growing them outside through black plastic, and it seems I'm going to get two fruits from two plants. Not great, but not terrible. I think I would have gotten more had the weather not been so hot and dry (the female flowers kept aborting).
