Bay leaves to dry in a couple of nice big bunches in the kitchen and more windfalls following on from our short burst of rain

Picked about fifteen tiny yellow plums the other day

Tomatoes, basil for pesto, a few peas and some small carrots -more thinning than harvest but they were big enough to eat.

Some jalapenos, for pickling.

One rather large courgette.

Lots of blackberries and lots of tomatoes.
It looks like my tomatoes are going to finish early.
I can only put it down to the very warm weather.

A cucumber, just under a kilo of tomatoes, and a bucket and a half of dry beans.
Also, the sweetcorn at the allotment was starting to go over so I picked all that was left. Got 11 more cobs off it (although some were only half filled, so it's more like 9 full cobs).

A bowl of lunchbox peppers, half a dozen little cucumbers, too many tomatoes and some wild strawberries

Apples this morning that are now in the dehydrator the leftover smaller bits are m/waved and frozen.

Apples, blackberries, french beans, runners and sage.

French beans and tenderstem broccoli.

Also started digging up my maincrop potatoes. I have two full to overflowing big buckets full so far (haven't weighed them yet) from 7 plants. 9 plants left to go.
The variety is Stemster, and the yield seems much better than the Rooster I have grown for the last two years, despite the dry summer. Lets hope they roast up just as well, as I'm growing them for roasting potatoes.
