Today I harvested 2022….

Lots of tomatoes. Also a couple of ripe peppers, and a cucumber.

I also weighed and sorted all of my maincrop potatoes today. Ended up with just over 40kg this year, which is twice what I had last year from the same number of plants (16 plants). I just hope they roast well and keep well.

I had a handful of raspberries that never made it home.
Five tomatoes from a crop that has been hanging on the vines unripe and grinning at me for weeks.
A big punnet of thunder runner beans. The vines have finally started producing non wonky pods after thunder rain. It started raining as soon as I started picking them and eased off while I prepared to carry them home and then started raining hard again.

Yesterday lots of apples for juicing, this morning toms to make soup.

More windfalls yesterday, but OH picked our one and only Golden delicious off the tree.
A 50p tree years and years ago from a bargain bucket …..and it’s done really badly ever since!
