            Looking good Mr B. Lifted most of my first earlies. Ok but not great crop. Don’t think the dry weather has helped.

              we're pleased with the yield, a small amount of scab from the dry weather but despite not watering for the last couple of weeks it was still damp underneath.

                Now on second second early tub which is Mary Rose. They are a good flavour and a good deep red colour although not a massive harvest, probably due to dryness. The best tasting and largest harvest from the tubs so far is the Maris Bard. That is one for next season.
