I have a Trinidad Perfume and a Jalapeno overwintering. These are the only two types of chilli i grow because I am a bit of a wuss as far as chilli heat is concerned. Hopefully I will use seeds from these two for this years crop also.

I currently have the following pepper plants overwintering in my conservatory:
        Laylak (two of them)
        Marconi Yellow
        Boneta
        King of the North
        Jalapeno
        Sweet Heat
        Tangerine Dream
        Hungarian Yellow wax

I also have three plants that I am experimenting with overwintering outside in the ground. I cut them back to a 30cm tall stem, wrapped them with raw wool and straw, and covered each one with an old compost bag. I shall unwrap them in May or so.

I have an orange habañero which will be going in to its third summer, a Bangalore Torpedo which will be in to its second, a prairie fire that's looking a bit sorry for itself but will be into its third year and finally a bhut jolokia which will be in its second summer but didn't fruit last year (hoping the longer growing period assists with a harvest). All on the home office windowsill so get a lot of attention.

They need re-potting though (looking a little yellow), maybe that this weekend's job along with sowing this year's efforts.

Whoops posted in last years thread, this year I lost all the plants I cut back for winter but any I let grow on without cutting back or reducing feed and water are doing well, Orange Hab has about 10 fruit, Aji Machero 1 fruit 2 flowers, Brown Jalapeno, Orange Cayenne, Little Demon, Peruvian Purple, Peach Hab and an Aji Champion and Aji Chombo that are outside and have survived a few -3c nights.

Put all my pepper seeds on damp tissue paper on my kitchen radiator to sprout.
I think I have 15 varieties in total. Probably too many...
I'll try to make a list to post here at some point.

not enough varieties in my opinion, a rough count puts me on at least 32 varieties this year.

Don’t overwinter any but I sowed cayenne, scotch bonnet and lemon drop in the heated propagator.

Here is a list of the varieties I am growing (or trying to grow, pending seed germination) this year:

                        Zlaten Medal
                        Kurtovska Kapiya
                        Ontara
Family (these four are all Eastern European varieties)
                        Marconi Golden
                        Laylak
                        Morron Conservor Luesia
                        Cayennetta
                        Mild Jalapeno
                        Beaver Dam
                        Antep Aci Dolma
                        Apple Crisp
                        Nigel's Outdoor Chilli
And a sweet yellow snacking variety I save from a supermarket fruit (it did well last year)

I plan to have three of each variety.

Today I also potted up some of the seeds which had sprouted. Marconi Golden, my self-saved seeds, and Cayennetta are now fully potted up, and I have two Aci Antep Dolma potted up. No signs of growth from any others yet. Also put a few extra seeds on the damp paper for the varieties which had some seeds which looked a bit dodgy.

This is my first year growing from seed. I have 2 x red Cayenne peppers and 6 x red Corno di Toro sweet peppers, sown last month and all doing well so far.

I have 4 tangerine dream up. One Zimbabwe black potted on and another 2 just up. That’s 2 each for me and spares for the plant sale in early May, assuming they make it till then.

A few of the Family sweet pepper seeds have started sprouting now, but still no signs of life from any others.
                              I'm a little concerned...
