What I harvested in 2023

The last picking of rhubarb, the last of the redcurrants, some more gooseberries, and the first of the blackcurrants.

I picked my first peach today. It had a small amount of slug damage which I had to cut out, but it was very tasty.

This morning courgette and raspberries, then later mixed lettuce and spring onions.

Some raspberries, blackcurrants, the last of the gooseberries, and the first watermelon (it wasn't quite fully ripe, but a slug made a hole in it, so I decided I had better pick it before it rots).

We have been having polytunnel flapping weather.
I missed out on finishing off a new raised bed behind the steel climbing bean frame. Bean frames need to be tough if they are going to stay up.
