    • A whole load more plums. Used some of them to make jam.

      • Are those plums mirabelles JJ? Nice plateful there. Mine have done well too this year- I’ve just stoned ( using an olive stoner) and frozen over 2kg for tarts later on in the year.

My third and last normal sized plum tree has started ripening up and we ate the first ripe one yesterday.

                  • Another four courgettes and a handful of runner beans.
I went to the blackberry patch just outside the allotments and got two large punnets of blackberries.

                    • More courgette, french beans, windfall apples and a few blackberries from our domestic plants. ( The wild brambles are still only thinking about turning red.)

                          • Probably the last of the runner beans- I’ll leave the rest for the beans for next year’s sowing.
                            Spinach and a few plums.

                            • French climbing beans and my first cucumber.
I also harvested my first tomato from saved seed from a supermarket fruit. It was slugged on the side facing away from the path.
I have treated with blue slug pellets due to massive infestation.
