What I harvested in 2023

  • First few potatoes for dinner boiled with butter & red gooseberries,some in the fridge & some in the freezer.

              • A few raspberries, and some fallen apples (they're Beauty of Bath, so they're basically ripe at this point, anyway, but this variety has an annoying habit of dropping its fruit just as or just before it's ripe).

                • Another courgette - that is the third. Looking like a decent courgette crop this year, after a poor year last year due to dryness I think. We are getting a decent amount of rain now.

                    • Red gooseberries,there’s more than I thought out there,the plants spreading,I don’t prune it though,three courgettes & some early potatoes,the potatoes went with two of my red onions for potato salad I’ve just eaten

                            • Some ronde de nice courgettes, lots of mini cucs, diva, passandra and delistar.
                              White lisbon spring onions.
                              My first toms of the year this year are black opal, which taste remarkably like or as good as black cherry. Sweet aperitif tom is almost ripe.
                              Nestled somewhere in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Good soil, strong winds and 4 Giant Puffballs!
