Planted out my tenderstem broccoli plants, and planted out my tomatoes and peppers in the greenhouse.
Planted up another gutter of peas, potted up some more sprouted beans, and some sprouted kale seeds, and repotted some tomatoes, tomatilloes and cucumbers.

I just watered everything yesterday with a bit of seaweed & a tiny bit of Epsom salts for magnesium (orange banana & black icicle usually show signs of deficiency, this will stop that) nothings gone outside yet,all my peppers & tomatoes are on the windowsills & by the patio door, this is some of them today

Today I planted out my summer PSB and covered with insect mesh.
Lifted 32 strawberry plants and moved them into the link-a-bord bed with another load into the bed with various currants and gooseberries. I still have a 2m patch of strawberries to relocate, but I have no idea where to yet!Last edited by peanut; 02-05-2023, 08:41 PM.Nestled somewhere in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Planted out my Duncan cabbages, pak choi, various lettuces, red veined spinach and rainbow chard, accompanied at all times by a neighbour's escapee chicken, who did a good job eating worms, not so good with the slugs lol!
Trimmed around the beds with my little clipper on a pole thing. Watered a few bits and bobs including the raised bed full of strawberries which are, so far, cross fingers, looking good despite being moved whilst in flower.
Potted up my hardy "sweet collection" gerberas that I got on ebay, they're really big plugs and in excellent condition, glad I took a chance on them.Last edited by peanut; 07-05-2023, 12:22 PM.Nestled somewhere in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Good soil, strong winds and 4 Giant Puffballs!

Potted on lots of dahlias.
Put all my tomato and peppers in the greenhouse for their first overnight.
Covered them with four layers of fleece. 🤞🤞
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
