      • Planted my gutter sown telephone peas. It took longer to erect the frame and netting than planting did.

            • Today I planted out my summer PSB and covered with insect mesh.
Lifted 32 strawberry plants and moved them into the link-a-bord bed with another load into the bed with various currants and gooseberries. I still have a 2m patch of strawberries to relocate, but I have no idea where to yet!

                  • Planted out my Duncan cabbages, pak choi, various lettuces, red veined spinach and rainbow chard, accompanied at all times by a neighbour's escapee chicken, who did a good job eating worms, not so good with the slugs lol!
Trimmed around the beds with my little clipper on a pole thing. Watered a few bits and bobs including the raised bed full of strawberries which are, so far, cross fingers, looking good despite being moved whilst in flower.
Potted up my hardy "sweet collection" gerberas that I got on ebay, they're really big plugs and in excellent condition, glad I took a chance on them.

                    • Potted on 3 chilli plants and the last tomato. Dug up a few potatoes that were sprouting in my onion bed. Grew potatoes in that bed last year so must have missed a few when I harvested.

Put all my tomato and peppers in the greenhouse for their first overnight.
Covered them with four layers of fleece. 🤞🤞

                              • Checked my sweetcorn pots which are so slow germinating this year and resowed a few. Then sieved the results of a turf pile I created last year and will use the results as a soil improver at the front.
