Started putting the tomatoes in the quadgrow. Had soaked the ground for the celeriac last night and covered in cardboard. Will plant out early tomorrow when I do the general watering. Parsnips are still popping up sporadically which is encouraging as at one stage I thought it was going to be a complete parsnip no show. I now have 12 but they are very random so the plan is to fill the gaps with lettuce.

Yesterday I planted out my allotment sweetcorn, my new yacon plants, and some replacement Cobra french bean plants.
Today I planted out two trays of climbing French beans for dry beans, and at home I potted up some sprouted sweetcorn seeds.

Got the sweetcorn, climbing french beans, runner beans, and small squashes planted.
Moved the blueberry plants so they're all grouped together ready to be covered as they start to ripen.Nestled somewhere in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Good soil, strong winds and 4 Giant Puffballs!

Planted out the sweetcorn in the raised bed at home. Badger generally has first dibs on the allotment unless crop is barricaded like Fort Knox and at home I only have the pigeons to contend with. Will put the perpetual spinach in tomorrow where there is room along with lettuce among the (sparse) parsnips.

Planted out celeriac and calendula. Weeded the brassica beds. Watered the veg beds and garden pots.
Looked around at everything else that needs doing and wished for another 10 hours in the dayNestled somewhere in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Good soil, strong winds and 4 Giant Puffballs!

Planted out some more climbing bean seeds, sorted out my greenhouse tomatoes (de-sideshoot, removed the lowest leaves, and tied in), tried my best to remove the aphids from my greenhouse peppers (the aphids seem very picky, as some varieties have none at all, and others are inundated), and weeded the onions, beetroot and peas. Oh, and lots and lots of watering.

Finally started planting up the tomatoes, I am so behind. Watering is taking 2hrs, I'm so jealous of those who had some rain yesterday!
