          Yup - I am too.
Not grown them for a few years as the wild boar like them and we didn’t want to encourage them into our potager.

I'm growing some, in-between the marrows and courgettes. This year the variety is Ambrosia if I remember correctly.

nico you need fence strong enough to resist the boar.
              or is resistance futile.

^^^ yeh, I know, but it’s pretty futile tbh - it’d be cheaper to buy fresh cobs at market than pay for all the fencing.

It is probably easier to show on a picture as it’s an unusual shaped bed. Essentially the sweetcorn are in the middle of the bed in a grid about 35-40cm apart, I have a courgette at each end with about 90cm space, 4 onion squash at the top ( they get trained up a frame ) and have put two crown Prince in the middle of the sweetcorn about a m from each other and will leave them to spread. I’ve grown all these types before but never combined in a bed with sweetcorn. So we will see. Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_0463.jpeg Views:	0 Size:	204.1 KB ID:	2564749

annie8 could you post diagram that gives an overhead view of the spacing
and a key so I can tell what letters mean for each plant type.
