When to start my Peppers and Tomatoes!?

I can't wait to March . I have just sowed some chilli peppers.

Have planted up three bags of potatoes. planted some up on the first of Jan last season and they did really well, so am trying a few weeks earlier this time.

Like Coreopsis I'd love more details of sewer rat's celeriac technique. I love the stuff and have tried sowing it earlier and later and in different parts of the plot, all with stunning lack of success. My entire crop bolted last year. I'd assumed I was perhaps too far north but sewer rat is even further north than me.

Sowed tomatoes at end of Jan last year but they were varieties for growing in colder climes - Latah and Galina.

sunset - what did your latah's taste like and when did you get your first harvest of both?

Don't rate the Latah for flavour but I like them roast. Picked the first on June 22 this yearand on June 11 last year. Like the flavour of Galina, sweet but with decent acidity. Picked the first on 29 June this year and 17 June last year.
