  • Florence Fennel

I sowed some Florence Fennel because Monty suggested it. They appear to be doing well, but I wondered if I should shore them up. As you can see the tiny bulbs are exposed and flop around a bit. I have some left over compost or could use fine garden soil. What do you think. Thanks.

It probably isn't necessary, but it also probably wouldn't do them any harm. If you want to shore them up, I would just scrape some of the surrounding soil into a little mount under each one.
