    Cherries and more jostaberries. Too hot in full sun to take any more at the moment , but there’s loads more fruit to pick!

    Oh and some mixed lettuce leaves for supper.

    After this mornings pickings, I then harvested some broad beans, poddy peas, chard, mizuna , salad leaves and my first ever turnip

    My first lot of potatoes this evening.
    Variety, Premiere...pleased to see they were almost equal in size.
    Disappointed there were fewer than I expected.
    Lovely flavour, so no complaints.

    I just harvested my garlic because it looks like it’s going to rain again soon & because the leaves were looking ready.

    when did you plant yours?
    March 26th I sowed these two bags of sharpes express,also some charlottes are ready from April 1st,haven’t lifted any yet. I leave them till the leaves are dying back rather than the twelve/fourteen weeks. I gave them some tomato feed once,should be using it more than this
