    Yesterday lettuce for my prawn cocktail,I use salad cream with a small amount of tomato sauce mixed to make the sauce,very easy to make.

    Some more dry beans for shelling, some beetroot, four tomatoes (two plants are still hanging on), and the last of the quinces.
    I got 16kgs of quinces in the end this year, from just one not-that-big tree (it's about 8 feet tall and 4-5 feet wide). The variety is Meeche's Prolific, and it certainly lives up to that name.

    Collected and cooked down all the windfalls yesterday- almost half a wheelbarrow load!

    5 red cabbage and some spring onions which now resemble leeks!…in fact looking bigger than the actual leeks we’re growing
