    • Took your advice Rary.
Sowed carrots spring onions, leeks, greyhound cabbage and spinach...all half packets.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

            • The rocket’s doing well, this is today,it’s been a month since sowing. I got some tubular fleece that fits over pots. It comes in a really long length you cut the lengths of tubular bits off, easier to use for pots, snails are still getting in though

                • I intend to sow a few Broad Beans this weekend to overwinter in the blowaway (8 seeds left in the packet from spring).

                  Lessons from last year:
                  1. put something heavy in the bottom of the blowaway so they don't dive head-first to the floor after nurturing them all winter.
                  2. sow into small pots rather than large modules so they don't need to be potted on before planting out.
                  3. get OH to fish the pots out of storage as there's bound to be a big spider living in there.
